August 2003: you have just entered my world: a world I have created: so now here is your road map so to speak: but let me bring you up to speed: I spent the last several months building this strange little world: as well as creating an album of music: Neverland, is now finished and out: so now I am moving on to other projects: shooting traveling:music videos: musical productions: writing new music and so on: but most of you have yet to see the work I have already finished and well there is a large amount of it: so below is your road map to my little world: into my mind heart and life: I live in a dream: the Internet lets me share that dream: so below is what's new and going on:

Neverland: Neverland is my baby: made out of love like most babies: or at least in a perfect world: My entire life has been working towards the goal of being able to make music from my soul: music from my heart and hands: in many ways everything I did was all to create a way for me to make music from my soul: Neverland is my debut album and it is the first time my vocals:songwriting:and production have left my body and become more then a dream: Neverland is now a reality:

the music: here you can hear my music: learn about my albums Neverland: and Beta, which are both for sale now and well the money buys me my dinner: you can hear my mp3s and well by the time you read this there will be over a hundred and I am looking to add a few every week: I am addicted to creating: that and well over the last month these people who make movies and TV shows started asking me if they could use it for there movies and so I thought well why not put all the music up: not just the albums that are more commercial: I will warn you my music is as emotional as I am and some of it is very commercial and some of it is for people like me who like to see what happens if you push music over the edge: so my musical collection ranges from music to make you meditate to music that you may not be able to listen to because it will make your head hurt or make you cry: but I am putting it all out there because well more and more people want to use it and I keep getting emails from people who want it so here it is: now on a side note: neverland and beta are for sale and there are only two mp3s from Neverland: but you can go to the label: now let me fill you in on this: the label and I work as partners: when you buy a CD through the label opposed to through amazon or somewhere else: me and the label keep all the money: now you may say who cares: well here is the deal if you like my music and my work: it isn't free to do: there is rent to pay food to buy CDs to make: and server cost making mp3s and video available to you is not free: so if I could I would give it all away but then I couldn't create: so if you can help support the artist there are many ways you can do it buying a CD is one of them: and unlike if you buy a CD at walmart I get paid: also in the music area you can learn about the other musical projects I am doing: how to remix me: I am working with a few people already who are doing remixes once they are done I will add them all and a link to who did them to a new section I am adding to the site: also if you want I am building my virtual street team so far I have a ton of people across the country who are helping spread the word: we need people to pass out flyers and posters if you want to join the team check it out: also there is a bunch of other stuff like my CD collection: which for all you junkies may be a way for you to find new music: so go dig around listen to some music and enjoy:

the videos : by the time you read this there should be a ton of behind the scenes videos: in the future there will be clips from some of the films I have done if I can ever find the directors: as well as music videos ( in the works) the behind the scenes footage is me being very hyper and silly: I have this strange hyper silly side that sneaks out every now and then and there is something about being alone with a camera: so there are strange things like book reviews in the bathtub and talking toys and lessons on how to make music: and fetish parties in Paris and band practice and photo shoots and traveling: well you see someone gave me a camera and well I am obsessed with capturing life and sharing it: so this section is yet again me trying to share my world with you: I will be adding to this section often as well: there is one person who is the reason this exist beside me and you should meet him: he is amazing: he works more then I do and is just as inspired: he did all of this and did it with a smile and without him it wouldn't be: so if you need anyone to edit your film: or make a website or do other pretty things with technology this is your man: not to mention he is fun: is good for long conversations:

the art : well in between music and photo shoots I like to paint, draw and make digital art: you can see my work here: I recently added a large amount on new work: I think you will enjoy it: have a look

the journal: I began keeping a diary or journal years ago and now I am posting them all for the world to see. I have made my life since 1993 when I was 12 open to you all. Why? Because the truth isn't going to hurt anyone or anything. Here, the world can see my triumphs and failures, my successes and my mistakes, my personal tragedies and the things that have made me happy. It's all here in my own words and you can read about how I search my soul, search the world, how I struggle with life as I seek the truth and freedom and express myself. By sharing these often intimate moments of my life, I hope to show that everyone can have ups and downs, problems, issues, childhood and adult traumas, but still rise above it and do something positive with their life. Most of my journals are here: not all of them I think I have 24 and well that doesn't include the ones that I lost or where stolen which I hope find there way back home: I also keep a live journal so if you have a live journal add me as your friend: if you don't have one you should get one: writing is a wonderful way to know yourself and to make your dreams a reality:

the mp3s : after lots of emails i have decided to put mp3s on my site: besides Neverland: and Beta, I write music all the time: everyday almost: I am also working with other musicians: so I am building and have built a very large library of original music: Neverland: and Beta, are my more commercial so to say works: but my other music has a large and growing fan base of people who love it: some of my music is very calm and soothing some of it is very upbeat some sad some simple some complicated: over the last two months several directors have contacted me about using the music so I figured why not put it up and put the word out that it exists: there is music that is classical music that is noise music that is dance pop you name it: I will be adding new work on a weekly basis so please keep watching: now if you want to use the music for a film email us so we can do it properly: now also there are alot of people remixing my stuff and if you want to cut me up and make something out of my work just email me so I can get you the files you need: I love making music it is my language and every song is my soul talking so I hope you enjoy it: I love making it and sharing it: but I think I like the sharing as much as the making: it is awesome to know that all over the world people are listening to and sharing my music: it makes me happy: anyway OK go and listen and enjoy and please don't be afraid to say hello or send me your art: I have gotten music from other artist and I love hearing what other people make:

the projects: here, you can learn more about the various other projects i am involved with or doing on my own. There are music projects like Lullaby, which will study the effect music has on children; my digital art project with Larry Carlson; there is also information on the blackbook project as well as the guardian system i am setting up to help keep models safe. Soon I will be adding film projects and I am also going to be the lead character of a new comic book. My "Object/Subject" book is another project I am working on and, as I said earlier, it will showcase images I have taken of models along with essays written by the models themselves as I explore with them what makes a model a real person (models interested in participating in this project should contact me).

for models: this is a section written for models by a model and it's all about modeling. This will be an invaluable resource section for people who have been in the industry and for those trying to break into it now. There are lists of books about modeling, modeling-related forums, model resource centers, a listing of agencies in New York City, and an important section about rape and sexual abuse -- grim reminders of the dangers that models may face in the course of their work. I am also going to be speaking and appearing at various modeling conventions and seminars over the next year so if you would like to attend, please keep tuned here for announcements and details about these events.

for humans: here i will post information and research i have done which will hopefully expand, change or improve people's lives. I will post articles I have written on topics such as health and nutrition; I will list museums and gardens in and around New York City where you can expand your cultural horizons or find peace and quiet; I will list vegetarian and vegan restaurants in New York City where you can find a good, healthy meal; I will post interviews I have conducted of people I find interesting; and I will expand this area over time to include other bits and pieces of information gathered by me or contributed by others with the goal of helping to improve the lives of all who partake of this section of the site.

The poetry: in addition to writing song lyrics, I have been writing poems since the early 1990's. I am putting them all here for everyone to enjoy. Already there are hundreds of poems posted and each month I will be adding more until all of the poems I have written over the last ten years are posted on the website.

bio: how did I get to where I am today? why do I consider myself a cat on her 8th life? it's all here in my own words (as well as in the words of others who have written about my life).

resume: because I am involved in so many different genres dealing with creativity, I have posted my three resumes here -- my music resume, my modeling resume and my acting resume. I encourage all who seek to collaborate with me or who want to consider me for their projects to read my resumes. feed the artist as an artist, i depend on the largesse and generosity of my fans to help pay for the site (hosting and server space isn't free after all and neither are the countless other things that go into making this site a reality), to help me eat, and to pay for a lot of other expenses that go into creating this work of art which i give to the world. In 2002, i made the decision not to make this a paysite. i don't regret that decision, but the reality is that i do depend in large part on my fan's support. fan club: i have a Yahoo fan club where i post images, journal entries, other things that interest me and, most importantly, get to carry on a dialogue with my fans. It is Jillian. If you don't already know me, I am an artist who had way too much freedom her entire life, no structure, and complete freedom to do as I wanted and to create as I wanted. When I became old enough to move away from the middle of nowhere, I didn't want to discontinue my life of one big never-ending adventure and art project. I discovered the internet and it became my canvas and my calling card. This is the never-ending, ever expanding creation brought to you through my life and experiences. The things I learn and experience through living and which I feel within my soul are translated into various forms of art and are hung here. This is an art piece; the Internet is my gallery. Other forms of media are too, but this is a place I can put it all together at once. I am currently living in New York City and i have made my life one big art project, revolving around expression and creation. My work, which can be seen here, varies and ranges from making music, singing, writing, modeling, and acting. i also collaborate on creative, interesting, artistic projects with other musicians, producers, photographers, film makers, sculptors, models, designers, writers and artists. As you will see, my website is one large canvas that continues to grow as i grow. i have revised the site several times in the last year but now, with this version, i think you will find that i have accomplished what i set out to do -- to make my site, which was already unique and one one of a kind, a piece of art. This site is like my child. i do it all myself and it is, from start to finish, from my heart with the help of many other artists and supporters.

Okay, so let's explore the new world of JillianAnn.com :) i have made the site more easily navigable. Yes, I listen when you write. Yes, your emails are seen, so I fixed the problem as best as I could. Everything that was here before is still here plus there is much more. But now visitors can more easily zero in on what interests them. Also, there is also a lot more here now and there will be more added each month -- more images, more music, more of my journal, more poetry and articles, video clips, lots and lots more. the music: At an early age, i knew the center of my calling was music. As long as i was listening or making music, life was good. My musical talent was recognized early on and I began to develop it. i did extremely well in piano and voice and i spent most of my time singing or listening to music . i discovered the power music had on me and on other people. In this section of my website, you can keep up with my musical work. You can also read about (and learn how to purchase! Beta, the cd I made with my longtime friend, collaborator and soulmate, David Kirby. You can also learn about my current project, Neverland, a solo project i have been working on which will be released this summer by Emperor Penguin Records. i will also talk about my upcoming musical projects as well as other projects i am working on with my collaborators. the images: i have been a model since i was 15 years old and in the last seven years i have had the luck and privilege to work with countless photographers from all over the world. In this section of the site, you can see the work of photographers who have shot me in the past as well as the work of those i am shooting with now. At this time, the website features images of me as seen through the eyes of many fashion, art, and beauty photographers from all corners of the world. i am also always looking to shoot with artistic, creative people who want to make beautiful, offbeat, unique images and you can learn in this section of the website how to contact me if you're interested in working with me on a particular project. i am also including here my own work as a photographer as well. In addition, i am currently seeking female models to shoot for a project about the contrast of being an object in front of a camera and who you are as a subject. If you are interested in this project, email me for further information. The project will be directed to galleries upon completion.

the poetry: in addition to writing song lyrics, i have been writing poems since the early 1990's. i am putting them all here for everyone to enjoy. the art: this section of the website will showcase my digital art and paper art. i have always enjoyed drawing, sketching and painting as well as making collages, sculptures and anything else that is artistic and/or creative. Here, i will share my creations with you. There are several new works in this part of the site and i will be adding more each month.

the CDs: Last year I did a full length dance/IDM album -- Beta -- with David Kirby. After several requests for the album from people who heard the mp3's online, I have now made Elucido Beta available for sale to the public. All of the money realized from the sale of Beta is funding future music projects and going back into the continuation and creation of music for you and the rest of the world. By purchasing Beta you are not only going to get new music to enjoy, but you will also be helping me continue to create. Just go to the reviews and you can read what has been said directly from those who have already purchased the CD.

the videos: Someone made the mistake of giving me a camcorder to record myself and my daily routines. You'll be able to see the footage right here as well as behind the scenes from my travels, shoots, and me just being offbeat, hyper, strange and maybe a little cute and funny too. The videos show my quirky, funny side as well as my human, real side complete with imperfections and bubble baths.

the mp3's: i like making all types of music. Some of the music is too off beat and strange for people to understand unless you're like me and you want music that makes you feel things. Here, in my mp3 section, i have everything -- there are finished pieces, full length albums of dancy pop music, strange noise, thirty minute pieces made for meditation, piano pieces that go on for forty five minutes and music that will make you close your eyes and get lost in a land of spirits. Much of the music on mp3.com is the music i create for one reason -- expression. Sometimes my expression is happy and light; sometimes it's a mix of opera-ish and metal idm; sometimes it's trip hop with pianos; and sometimes it's piano and vocals. i have written more than seventy something pieces since i started. What i have found is that EVERYONE LIKES SOMETHING different which has made it utterly impossible for me to narrow down anything, so i am giving it all to you. The music on Neverland will NOT be on MP3 most likely but all the other music will be there. i write music like i write my journal -- i write it all the time. i am growing as an artist but it's funny because some of the music i thought i should throw away is what is being put in movies and used by TV shows now. so, with mp3, i will let you make the decision. Also i am including some of the work there that i am doing with other people. There is something for everyone. Each song is different so you may hate one but love another. The only way to know though is to listen. Unlike most artists, i am all over the place and the more i learn, the more all over the place i am. When i say "all over the place," i mean the music is like my photographs -- none of them are the same.
