BROADWAY

She walked down Broadway

Distracted by all the e things

She wanted to say

To many ways to remember yesterday

She walked down Broadway

Wearing her broken heart

On the front of her t-shirt

Nothing mattered anymore

There was nothing left to take

A child who could see

To much to easily believe

To many couldn’t understand

How to hold her hand

So she watched

She watched

 Her love drowned

To many lovers that lied

To many mothers that cried

Never found the reason why

The angels fell from the sky

So she closes her eyes

She was walking down Broadway

Trying to get away

To many thing she could never say

She wore her heart

On the front of her t-shirt

It didn’t matter anymore

Cause there was nothing left to take
