Another day

I fade

City lights

Shining bright

Down the road

Driving fast

Trying to escape

Your tender heart

Hanging on a rope

Life is cruel

I can’t cope

You couldn’t either

So I escape

As my childhood is raped

Ripped from all I knew

Fading so fast

I watched you fall down

I ran as you hit the ground

suicide’s empty kiss

So young to die

Too many tears to cry

So I watch you fall

And now I fade

City lights

Shine down on me

The city hold me tight
